The Pavilion

The exhibition route

The main goal is to allow visitors to experience the essence and beauty of San Marino’s morphological landscape through three distinct sensory experiences: touch, hearing, and sight.

The Pavilion is inspired by the unique morphology of the Republic of San Marino, characterized by a series of hills and peaks extending across the central part of the small state.

It includes Mount Titano, the main mountain formation in the region, offering spectacular views of the surrounding area. Mount Titano consists of three main peaks: Mount Titano, Mount della Fratta, and Mount Cerreto.

The visit offers an immersive experience in which every element of the Pavilion is connected, reflecting the unity and cohesion of the Republic of San Marino.

The ascent of a mountain broadens the boundaries of our sight and becomes a symbol of the expansion of horizons. From above, you can understand much more, and the view opens up to the Republic of San Marino and the surrounding territories.

THE ORIGIN OF THE PROJECT

A fresh and new vision, born from the collaboration with UNIRSM design students.

With an innovative approach, the General Commissioner’s Office entrusted the design of the San Marino Pavilion for Expo 2025 Osaka to students from the University of San Marino. The result demonstrates the excellence of the University and its ability to transmit the know-how culture, giving the projects a distinctive and precise character.
